That Montessori Mom

For 5 years I taught at California Montessori Project, a Montessori Charter school in the greater Sacramento area. I enjoyed working with students in lower elementary (ages 6-9) and upper elementary (ages 9-12). Now, as a homeschooling mom, I have drawn on my California state teaching credential in addition to my Montessori training to create an infant and toddler program for my own children and some neighborhood children too.

 It is my belief that we can truly educate the whole child and support future generations by instilling a lifelong love of learning and exploration. It is my goal to be an agent of change in the teaching profession by challenging others to rethink the current educational mindset. With so many families turning to homeschool as their primary means of educating their children, the best way for me to do this is to support each family's unique homeschooling journey in the best way I know how. Through my Instagram and blog, I provide ideas and support for bringing Montessori philosophy into your homeschooling journey or your homelife in general.
